My Country...what are we thinkin?

What is happening in this country of ours? We seem to be cruise'in for a fight with each other. We want another Civil War? Really? There aren't enough people left with the balls to fight one. Leaving it up to the one's doing the shouting isn't gonna work. Did you See who showed up on the Mall for the "Glenn Beck Hate Fest"??? It was a get together of the Diabetaic's. Sugar counts everyone~! Borderlines to the right....mainliners to the left. For pitysake. And Haggie...There's a picture of "love"..Snicker!

I want to say "who falls for that?" but then I can see. I can read. It breaks my heart. Doesn't Anyone read & understand What they read anymore? Or do we just swallow the crap pushed at us. Question Authority isn't just a saying...it's the American way of Life! It doesn't mean stand in it's way. It means Question it. Find out the Why. Maybe it's a good reason, maybe not. When we question we find out not only why, but we are able to think things out. Too many Cooks only spoil soup in a Kitchen Not a Congress! Nor a Senate, Nor a Kindergarden. Not even a Zoning Committee! March in Lock-step & what do you have?....It's damn sure not freedom. Not any Army of a Free Country marches that way. nope.

Somebody tell me What McCain was thinkin when he picked Palin. When he had Lady's like Kay Bailey-Hutchenson to choose from. Now there's a Lady who would have Won the Election for him. That was a "who" was he runnin' against again?....I fail to remember...Ms. O. Snow (State of Maine) another great choice. but...nada.

So here we are with the Anniversary of 911 on us. This poor lil Pastor in Florida, about to be responsible for the loss of lives. A "center of faith" near the site, which came further along than Anyone want's to admit, than it ever should have. But o now let the Shouting Start. Which should have just been handled by Zoning or Code Enforement the same way anything else is handled that folks don't want. But No. What Are We Thinking? We're thinking we want a fight, among ourselves....last time we acted so much like this? We were desperately trying to ignore England plee's for help. We still ended up in WWII & not only were we better off for it, so was the World. Everyone just would have been better off if we had acted like Adults & not tryed to stay out of it.

So maybe what we need here is, Return to the Draft, Draft male & female. End Prohibition. Return to & Create more Public Service. The WPA, the CCC, and so forth. if your not working, into them you go or instead of complaining about "illegals". Go Pick Fruit. Bend your fine Fanny over & pick some lettuce yourself honey. Clean home's, watch children, take care of the Elderly, kindly (or Else!) and learn to be human again. Take away Credit Cards. Return to Savings accounts & Store Credit. Let some folks owe their "soul to the Company Store". What a wakeup call!. Not just a few months run at it either. It's time. To Grow up.

I just read my nephew Kevin's wife's blog...beautiful name & I just don't want to misspell it is all...ask me! I can (!) say it. It was her resignation that set me off. I haven't laughed like that in some-time. Thank you dear. I am in your debt. Truely I am.

Perhaps doing so would do me well from time to time. But in thought of doing such, it strikes me that it wouldn't take long before I would just have to have it done in a form. Sign it & have it served. I would like it, if it were done by someone Official & folded in the 3 fold. Long-way. But alac & alas.

Wow it's cold here tonite! Dadburnit. Last week someone left the door open to Hell & this week it's fall in New England. Except this is Southen California. Hello? please. We don't "do" fall in New England....we live on a beach...a 30-40 minute drive over some Beautiful Mt's to the Ocean Beach....what the heck with...65degree's? August? 7pm? .....I dun like it.

I do like where we've landed this time! Nice little village. People take care of people. Crazy place. Folks are a nutz as we are, each in their own way. Everyone just tryin to get by. We have a cool lil golfcart to get around on. Love it. Electric. Take it across the street to the little store even. Wish or looking forward? To people getting more used to them as their greatly used on course's so I know it would easily make it up to the larger store & back. And would like to use it to do so. But I also know the local constablarly would pitch a fit.
